Turning to the East

Hello You Incredible Being!

Our compass has turned toward Artist, from Muse, and yet your Muse will journey with you, just like your Legendary Self did into the Muse. Each one flows into and informs the other, builds insight and confidence.

At the heart this part of your journey moving from Muse to Artist is the tender cultivation of your own life work, what we often refer to as your content. As I write those words I actually see and feel tiny green shoots of tender seed leaves poking through soil that has been turned and turned until it is fertile. Soil that has been sorted through with careful hands and archeologists tools, which are often brushes.

I have to tell you, because I cannot NOT tell you how deeply insightful and confronting of a journey this particular process is. I want to post a kind of warning, with no cherry on top that I know this will be DEEP work. I ask you to do it because I want you to get to that place within yourself where you truly know who you are - and what is yours to do.  SO you are free to cause and create your work in the world. The Talisman will take you far into your psyche and turn long hardened soil into fertile soil ready for new life. But first, the digging commences. Excavation and invisible keys.

Talisman is...intense. Whatever you haven't already dealt with on your path, will begin to be revealed, but there is an end in mind - the revealing of your own content and archetype - defined by you for you.

Artist is one of the most sacred of names. It is a name which puts in context all the pieces that before seemed fragmented. It is a space and place of no apology - an archetype which assumes personal authority and whom is willing to look at all her stuff  - her jewels and her BS. Artist. Try it on for size. Say it and feel your mouth as you say it, listen to your heart. How does it feel to claim this, and yes, it is both internal identity and external title. When I became an artist in earnest is when I actually became myself. Before, even though I did art and thought I was me, I wasn't really me in the way that art would make me, me.

This transit of moving from Muse to Artist and turning from the North to the East is both gentle and natural but is also quantum. In one second it feels like you are moving fast and in the next one you are moving in slow mo. Quantum movements are like that.

I have two requests.

1. PRACTICE ULTIMATE PRESENCE  - don't go to sleep on yourself and your archetype inventing practice.

2. REACH OUT - to the other sisters who are working along side you on the journey and be supportive while holding your own space.

There is no wild self without poetry, without painting, without dancing, without accessing all those jewels shining inside of us. This time that we are journeying together, is designed to give you access to the very interior of your being, to your ideas, your intuitions, your images, your shapes, your symbols, your sounds… to awake you to all of the senses that are possible.

So much of our lives we live in busyness, and we live in ways and times and schedules and constructions and computers and all this stuff that there is to do keeps you from really spending time to with the 'you’ that you truly are. It is time for that now. The Talisman is a road map to the wild intuitive artist that you are. All the work you have done becomes useful here. Everything you have learned and suffered and gained and celebrated and wondered about becomes what it needs to be held inside the context of this training becoming the activation point for your Life Work.

I have to tell you now - and remind you, that you are here ultimately for your own content. I am asking you as usual to 'go in after' that which is your piece of the red thread. Talisman is a process I designed, or that was really designed through me to get you present and conscious of yourself, your own story, how you operate, what your wounds are and how to ultimately access and bring your content out into form. YOUR own teachings.

As you know after the Talisman Artist cycle, is the Alchemist. So you don't need transform everything, this is more like preparing the garden bed for new shoots. When we get to Alchemist we will catalyze and set stuff on fire that remains to be forged in the fire of our love.

And so my dear shining fellow artists - I am here to welcome you to The Talisman adventure. That deep inner sense of your own quantum self that you are willing to excavate is in the cave ....are ready for that? You might not feel ready but actually, it is time. The Muse has bigger holes to dig now that she has found her way around your mind and heart through the architecture of your consciousness from your last painting. I am saying a quiet prayer of transformation for all of us. That all of us will get just what we need from this experience. May our journey be blessed and may we feel held in the container.
