We look forward to gathering with you on Zoom for bimonthly Community Calls Second and Fourth Wednesdays. Plan for between 60 and 90 minutes. Bring journal, pens and something to sip on.

There will be breakout groups to connect with your sisters on these calls so we recommend attending live when you are able! That said, we know that with so many timezones and life obligations, there will be group calls where it is not possible for you to participate. We alternate 12pm and 4pm PT to make it more likely that everyone will be able to attend at least one each month. If it is the middle of your night or the middle of something else, know that this call will be recorded and posted within 24 hours.

If you are new to Zoom, you can join us using video or phone. To join by video online simply click the Zoom video link a few minutes before we begin. The application will launch to your computer. Follow the prompts and the meeting window will open. Make sure your video and audio are turned to 'on'. You can find a brief video tutorial here.

Reminders will be sent to your inbox two hours before each call. And call recordings will be posted on this page below.

“Our circles are an invitation to a women’s council. We invite you to prepare for the circle by having your journal, pens. Many bring a ball of red thread, special candle, even a shawl - how will you make this ritual your own? How will you show up? While you can come in your pajamas and it isn’t about dressing up, it can be fun to make it your own - sometimes with your painting behind you or something you want to share visually in the background with the group. While you may be in different places at different times, is there one special place in your art studio where you want to create your ‘circle space'? Many pets often make appearances and sometimes, nursing babies and kiddos or partners walking by. It is a window into our mutual worlds. We so look forward to being with you in this visual way. It is come as you are, but come intentionally to the cafe table!” ~ Shiloh Sophia

Muting yourself: We ask that each student mute their audio unless it is your turn to share in circle or you are asking a question. Sometimes we will mute the group all together as needed, but it is still your responsibility to be aware of what’s happening in your surroundings and to make sure you are muted. For those on video, you’ll click the microphone icon on the zoom menu bar to mute and unmute yourself. You’ll see a red line through the icon when you’re muted. For those on your phone, you’ll mute using your phone mute button or press *6 on your phone keypad to mute and unmute yourself.

Video Awareness: Ideally your physical space is free from distraction, so you can sit, listen and take notes during our Circles. However, we know sometimes you may need to tune in from a location where other things are going on around you, like a coffee shop for example. Or, if you are “on the go”, walking somewhere, this is very distracting to others. If you have movement going on in your physical space, we ask that you turn off your video to be courteous to your fellow sisters. To turn on/off your video camera, you’ll click the video icon on the zoom menu bar.

Chat Usage: The Zoom Chat allows you to chat with your fellow sisters, and the circle Guides. You can say hello, share aha’s and inspiration. The Chat is also great if you are experiencing any kind of technical challenge, to notify our team so we can be of assistance. The chat function is available on the zoom menu bar which is typically located at the bottom of your video screen. If you want to message another student, you can also select their name and send your message to them personally instead of everyone. Selecting the appropriate person to chat with helps to avoid distraction of other students.

We appreciate you honoring these requests as best you can.

Your big WHY – What impact do you want to make on the world or those around you? This big why is what keeps you motivated and inspired. The why you do want you do or want to do. My big why is (What contribution and impact you want to show up for). 3 minutes

Who are they? Look at what they’re wearing, the expression on their face of delight at being here with you. What is their back story – what has gotten them to this point of wanting to be in relationship with you? What challenges are they facing? What do they care about? How old are they? What are they longing for? Take a moment to really connect with them. Write for three minutes

Inner Observer with Shiloh Sophia (2/9)

Menu of Offerings (2/23)

This is a exercise to begin detailing your potential offerings

What choices for Intentional Creativity experiences might be available on your website?

  • Red Thread Circles
  • IC Sessions - One-on-One or Groups
  • 13 Step Painting Workshops
  • 1 Day Workshops
  • Longer Retreats

For each, play with theme & title, a brief description. Although not required for the assignment, begin to consider possible pricing for each event.

If you'd like to go further with this assignment, we recommend creating some graphics to go with each event that excites you!

For your required assignment you'll share three possible offerings that might be on your menu.

Note from Shiloh Sophia: Your Menu of Offerings is that oh so sacred beauty place that allows your Beloveds to intersect with your gifts -  to actually choose and pay for your services! This can be SO FUN because you can do it from a dream standpoint as well as a literal standpoint, but the best is a combination of BOTH - things you know you are actually going to do and things you WANT to do. When I am creating a menu I leave placeholders - actual spaces - and ask, what wants to go in here? Think of your menu as something you can print out on one page and hand to someone, and that you can put on your website so it is seen digitally. Your menu may have links to dates for actual calendared events. The menu is different than the calendar as it shows all the options that are available from your medicine basket.
