The intention of this assignment is to connect this Training with the rest of your life and to turn concepts into action. Think about how you truly plan to use and OFFER Intentional Creativity in the world.
This Soulwork project is a proposal, an outline, a beginning. Choose something you truly care about and are interested in and inspired by. An idea that may be audacious but that makes your heart all aflutter. Let your imagination run wild!
In your application we asked if you were open to serving, and this is your chance to imagine at a new level how you might bring Intentional Creativity to your communities. Consider beginning with something you are already working on. Consider a venue that serves others (crisis center, homeless shelter, clinic etc.) where you could develop an offering. Consider a skill set you already have that could be paired with Intentional Creativity Movement. Sit with your paintings and ask them to help you consider something we haven't thought of!
What is yours to cause and create in the Intentional Creativity movement? Will you bring IC work into recovery centers or to veterans? Will you bring this work to life for those who are living after a death or trauma? Will you bring this work into University curriculum? Will you do the research on the brain science or heart science that goes with IC work? Will you be the one to design how this can be used with women recovering from rape or violence? Will you bring this to churches, elementary schools? Will youbring this to those desiring to create abundance and heal from old money beliefs? Will you show how IC can change a family or family dynamic? Is there a part of the greater public movement that is your piece? Or will your project be some other personal application of the method?
It is our hope that the completed presentations can be shared within the Intentional Creativity community - and in some cases presented as teachings. Host your project in a way that makes it easy to link and share!
The structure of your Soulwork project is flexible. Choose a presentation format that makes sense for your particular project. Some suggested guidelines for length:
If a video - 10 minute (like a TED talk).
If a paper - 3 pages
If a video slideshow - 5 minutes
Whatever the format, consider documenting in a way that it can be shared and make a contribution to others.
Plan a minimum of 6 hours for developing and documenting.
It is acceptable to collaborate with one of your fellow teachers in the training and do a SOULWork project together.
